Product Description:
AKD103 is a new and improved generation sizing agent manufactured from polymer emulsion. This upgraded agent offers enhanced retention, increased water resistance, and accelerated curing time, leading to improved sizing effectiveness. Additionally, its improved stability and prolonged storage period contribute to enhanced overall performance of various paper types. AKD103 is versatile and suitable for use in the sizing process of writing paper, offset printing paper, cardboard paper, corrugated paper, xerographic paper, copperplate base paper, and more.

Applications:
1) The product can be applied in the pulp with a pH range between 6 and 9. This includes various types of pulps such as wood pulp, bamboo pulp, secondary pulp from waste paper, straw pulp, reed pulp, cotton stalk pulp, and others.
2) The recommended dosage is 5kg to 15kg per metric ton of pulp. It is typically added continuously using meter pumps into the stock tank or mixing tank.
3) It is important to clean the equipment and pipes thoroughly if they have been used in acidic paper-making processes. The pH value of the pulp can be adjusted by adding a small amount of soda ash or caustic soda.
